Garter stitch squares

HI Everyone
We are doing really well with the knitted donations
Isobel is sewing like mad as the stream flows on.

Some people are busy knitting lengths and some squares.  They are all being stitched together so as we can reach our target. Three quarters of a mile. At the moment we have about 260ft sewn.  We have Yet to measure the latest donations. We still have a short time left. so nothing is impossible. We have  until the 7th of May 2012

The knitted lengths and squares etc don't have to be a continuous  colour . You can experiment  stripes, or fair isle  can be used.The stream will look really jazzy. You can experiment .

We love to hear them. The stories can be about why you knit? Knitting successes?  / Failures ? Nostalgic memories of knitting or knitted pieces. It is as important to our project as the knitting.
